Ray J, 'I Hit It First' -- Singer Downplays Kim Kardashian-Inspired Song

Ray J's new song, "I Hit It First," is not about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the singer insists.

"It's a song, it's not about that, it's about a concept," he explained this morning (April 8) on New York's Hot 97 (via MTV News). "People going way too deep. They just gotta keep it on the surface. I'm not trying to create no war, it's all love; we're doing music."

If it's not about Kim and Kanye, he sure is doing as much as he can to lead people on.

"I hit it north, with her ass goin' south, but now baby chose to go west," he sings on the track.

"It's not a war, it's not a dis song, we're just having fun," he explained. "Bring it back to the song. That's all I'm on."
