Beyonce & Amy Winehouse: Bey To Cover 'Back To Black' For 'The Great Gatsby'

Beyonce & Amy Winehouse: Bey To Cover 'Back To Black' For 'The Great Gatsby'

Beyonce is joining "The Great Gatsby."
The singer has signed on to contribute to the soundtrack for the upcoming film adaptation, E! Online reports. Beyonce will reportedly cover late singer Amy Winehouse's hit song, "Back to Black." The cover will also feature Outkast's Andre 3000, who has collaborated with Beyonce in the past.
"It's a very different take on 'Back to Black,'" a source told E! Online.
Beyonce's husband Jay-Z is producing the soundtrack for "The Great Gatsby" and set to record his own music for the film. Prince and Lady Gaga are also rumored to appear on the soundtrack.
"Not only is Jay-Z a great artist, full stop, but I had heard that he was a great collaborator," director Baz Luhrmann said in a statement announcing the soundtrack. "Leonardo [DiCaprio] and I were lucky enough to be present in a recording session over two years ago as Jay-Z was recording 'No Church in the Wild,' and the collaboration grew from there."
"The Great Gatsby" hits theaters on May 10.
